Race Drivers, Teams and their Cars

Jim Fitzgerald, 1970

The Datsun Roadster was raced to ten National SCCA Championships over a 20 year period. The first of these Championships, which also represented Nissan's first National Championship, was collected by Bob Sharp in 1967. Click on the link below for details of all ten National Championships.

THE DATSUN ROADSTER HALL OF FAME
THE NATIONAL SCCA CHAMPIONS

As well as the champions, the pages linked below concentrate on the historic racing teams and drivers, who campaigned from the 1960s onwards, and who won time and time again on the SCCA circuit. The pages include many rare photographs, roadster specifications and a wealth of information. The Jack Scoville and Joe Hauser pages also include interviews with the drivers themselves, conducted especially for this project, and Peter Brock has provided an excellent insight into the BRE Roadsters.

There are also pages on the Datsun Roadsters used by Bob Bondurant in his High Performance Driving School.

If you have any further information/images that you think would benefit these pages please E-Mail me.
