Tom Brennan 1981 DP Champion
Tom won the 1981 Championship in a 10 lap race (reduced from 18) following severe rain. He beat the favourite and race leader, Doc Bundy who was at the wheel of his $50,000 factory Porsche, when Bundy's windshield wiper broke on the penultimate lap. Bundy crawled home second. |
