The NEC Classic & Sports Car Show

29-30 April 2000

In association with The Classic Z Register

The NEC Classic & Sports Car Show is the largest event of it's kind in the UK - for 2000, the Show covered a massive 4 Halls of the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. The Show included dealer displays, club displays and a large autojumble. The Sporting Bears were offering charity rides in some wonderful classic machinery, and Ford unveiled their new Rally cars.  The Z Register were again invited to take a stand, which featured four cars, the largest to date. Nissan GB donated 500 Skyline GT-R sales brochures to the Register for the event, and the display, which included a 'guest' appearance from a Nissan Skyline GT-R, attracted interest from a broad cross-section of enthusiasts. A very successful show indeed, which brought much attention to Nissan's sporting heritage.
