ARRC article - Autoweek, 1969. Joe places a creditable 4th behind SCCA President's Cup winner, Paul Spruell

JH:- still remember the first time that I was aware of the value of drafting was at Daytona in 1969. I think I qualified 8th; we started on the back straight and by the time we got to the start finish I had drafted up to 4th. The fastest qualifier I believe was John Soule in a Spitfire with Spruell and another Alfa somewhere up front. I got past the two Alfa's one time but then got a little wide in one of the turns and ended up 4th. I was happy to get that.
